Feeling Anxious, Overwhelmed or Carrying Too Much Alone?
Counselling in Grimsby & Online Across the UK
You might look like you're coping on the outside, but inside things feel very different.
Perhaps your mind won't switch off, you're constantly overthinking, or you're carrying feelings of grief, shame, or exhaustion that no one else seems to see.
Maybe you've been holding things together for a long time, and it's starting to feel like too much.
If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like you're carrying everything on your own, you're not alone.
I'm Lisa, a person-centred counsellor offering kind, calm, confidential one-to-one therapy online across the UK and in-person from my quiet practice in Grimsby.
I support people who are experiencing:
- Anxiety and constant overthinking
- Grief and loss
- Low mood or feeling disconnected from themselves
- Shame, self-criticism, or a persistent feeling of "not being enough"
You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out.
Therapy with me offers a calm and compassionate space to slow down, reflect and reconnect with what matters most to you.
Together, we can explore a different way of relating to difficult thoughts, feelings and life experiences: helping you move towards a life that feels more meaningful, grounded and aligned.
Not perfectly. Not instantly. But gently, over time.
Free Introductory Call Available.
A gentle 15-30 minute conversation where you can ask questions, find out more about how I work, and get a sense of whether I feel like the right fit for you.

No pressure. No obligation. Just a chance to see how it feels to talk with me.

How It Works
1. Book a Free Introductory Call
A relaxed 15-30 minute conversation where you can ask questions, tell me a little about what's bringing you to therapy, and get a feel for whether working together feels right.
2. Choose Online or In-Person Sessions
You're welcome to work with me online from anywhere in the UK or face-to-face in my quiet Grimsby practice.
3. Begin at Your Own Pace
Sessions are typically weekly. We go at a pace that feels comfortable for you, creating a space to slow down, reflect and explore whatever feels important right now.
Together, we can begin to make sense of difficult thoughts, feelings and experiences, helping you reconnect with yourself and move towards what matters most in your life.
What Therapy With Me Is Like
Therapy with me is kind, calm and compassionate, centred around you and what matters most in your life.
There's no judgement, no pressure, and no expectation to be anything other than how you are right now.
While therapy can provide a space to talk and be heard, it can also be a space to reflect, explore and discover new ways of relating to difficult thoughts, feelings and experiences.

Many people come to therapy feeling unsure or hesitant. That's completely normal.
You're welcome exactly as you are.
You Don't Need the Perfect Words to Begin
Most people reach out to therapy when they're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward.
You don't need to have everything worked out before contacting me.
You don't need the perfect explanation.
You simply need a space where you can pause, breathe, and begin making sense of what's been weighing on you.
A space to be heard, supported and understood.
A space to reconnect with yourself and explore what matters most to you.
If something in you is saying, "I think I need some support", that's enough.
